Founded in Detroit in the year 1911, Chevrolet is now recognized as one of the world's largest car brands. The company has been doing business in more than 140 countries, selling more than 4.9 million vehicles a year. Chevrolet knows how to provide its customers with fuel-efficient vehicles which feature high class performance, holding an amazing, elegant and expressive design, and not to forget high quality. One of the most recent blends of all of these amazing qualities is the new 2014 Corvette Z06. 2015 Corvette Z06 “The Corvette has long been known as America’s sports car,” said Mark Reuss, GM executive vice president, Global Product Development. “With the capability of the new Z06 rivaling the best performance cars in the world, this will also be America’s Supercar.” It is SAE certified, boasts horsepower of 650 and 650 lb-ft of torque, and is the first of its kind with an available eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission. With high performance-enhancing magnetic ride control and performance traction management, the award-winning vehicle is now here. The Corvette Z06 has the ability to zoom to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds. The vehicle’s new eight speed automatic engine allows it to go in 2.95-sec to a speed of 60from 0. In just under 10.95-sec, quarter-mile cars such as the Ferrari 458 Special also hold sub-3-second zero to 60 capabilities. The high speed performance is what establishes the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 as one of the most capable vehicles in the market. It isis one of the very few vehicles to go from 0-60 in under 3 seconds, and also 11 seconds to reach a quarter mile. “The defining aspect of driving the Z06 is seamless integration of power, technology and aerodynamics,” said Corvette chief engineer, Tadge Juechter. “As a result, the Z06 delivers ferocious acceleration, tenacious handling, and high-speed stability that few cars can match.” It is the first Corvette Z06 with a supercharged engine. The all new and innovative 2015 Corvette Z06 coupe goes on sale in 2015 priced at $78,995, while the Z06 convertible will go on sale during the second quarter, priced at $83,995.
