We began mass production of the Ventec Life Systems V+Pro critical care ventilator for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services at our Kokomo, Indiana facility in early April. We are scheduled to ship more than 600 ventilators in April and almost half of the 30,000-unit order will be filled by the end of June. The full order will be completed by the end of August, with the capacity to build more ventilators after August if needed.
Level 1 Face Masks
To address the critical shortage of face masks that help protect workers in essential services across the country, GM launched a rapid-response project to produce masks at scale at our manufacturing plant in Warren, Michigan, where we have an ISO Class 8-equivalent cleanroom. Less than seven days later, the team produced the first sample on the new production line. Once all quality measures are completed, the team expects to deliver the first 20,000 masks to frontline workers the week of April 6.

Here are a few ways to reduce the corona-virus threat in your vehicle. Some of the highly touched areas in your car are a great place for germs to harbor. The steering wheel can have the majority of germs in a car. When starting to disinfect your vehicle we suggest beginning with the steering wheel, radio controls, cruise control, turn signals and don't forget the paddle shift levers. The best thing to use on these surfaces are disinfectant wipes however, soap and water can work too. Using disinfectant wipes on your doors grab handles is also a great idea as they are hot spots for germs as well. Do not use any type of bleach or peroxide on the cars interior. These type of chemicals can cause damage to the surfaces in your vehicle
