 GMC and Chevrolet announced today that they are partnering with Power Solutions International, Inc. (PSI) to introduce heavy-duty pickups and full-size vans powered by 6.0-liter V-8 compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)-capable engines starting in the first quarter of 2017. Chevrolet also will offer CNG and LPG versions of its new Low Cab Forward commercial truck.
The announcement follows the selection of PSI, based in Wood Dale, Illinois, as General Motors Fleet’s preferred upfitter for CNG and LPG trucks. PSI is one of North America’s largest and most experienced providers of integrated turnkey alternative-fuel powertrain solutions. 
Yesterday marked the official start of summer and Chevrolet wants to help parents avoid situations where summer moments become tragic incidents. With school out and the weather warming up, more children are spending time outside drawing chalk pictures on the driveway, blowing bubbles into the wind or riding bicycles around the neighborhood.
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, on average there are 210 fatalities and 15,000 injuries a year caused by backover crashes. Of those crashes, NHTSA estimates that 40 percent occurred in residential areas, with 24 percent happening in driveways.  Instead of losing energy when slowing down, the one-pedal driving feature helps you transfer energy to the battery. It works like this: When driving in Low mode and you want to speed up, press your foot down as you normally would. You can slow down- or even come to a complete stop- by simply easing your foot off the accelerator. One-pedal driving helps you maintain energy in the battery.

 General Motors today announced that it completed production of 130 Chevrolet Bolt EV test vehicles equipped with its next generation of self-driving technology at its Orion Assembly Plant located in Orion Township, Michigan. The vehicles will join the more than 50 current-generation self-driving Bolt EVs already deployed in testing fleets in San Francisco; Scottsdale, Arizona; and metro Detroit.
“This production milestone brings us one step closer to making our vision of personal mobility a reality,” said GM Chairman and CEO Mary Barra. “Expansion of our real-world test fleet will help ensure that our self-driving vehicles meet the same strict standards for safety and quality that we build into all of our vehicles.” The San Diego Camaro Club meets every month on the first Wednesday here at Courtesy Chevrolet in San Diego.
